I was delighted to be asked by Andy and Rachael Stevenson to photograph the Reverse Rett Bonfire Night fundraising event at the OXO2 in London, overlooking the River Thames.
Reverse Rett works to speed treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome and related MECP2 disorders by funding research that will have a practical and positive impact on children’s lives.
The event has traditionally been a gala dinner format but this year was a more relaxed affair with standing buffet and cocktails. Over 300 people attended and they were entertained by comedian Liam Smith and DJ Yoda, who are both parents of Rett Girls.
An amazing £61,000 to fund further research for the projects supported by the charity and I felt privileged to attend and capture images during the evening which are available via the following link:
